Shanxi Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project

山西省万家寨引黄入晋工程是一项从根本上解决山西水资源短缺的大型跨流域调水工程。

山西省万家寨引黄入晋工程从万家寨水利枢纽引水,由总干线、南干线、联接段和北干线四部分组成。总干线西起万家寨水利枢纽,东至偏关县下土寨分水闸,南干线和联接段由下土寨分水闸向南至太原,北干线由下土寨向东至朔州、大同。年引水总量12亿立方米,分别向太原供水6.4亿立方米,向大同、朔州供水5.6亿立方米。引水线路总长约441.8公里,其中:总干线长44.35公里 , 南干线长101.56公里, 联接段长139.35公里(其中利用汾河河道输水81.2公里),北干线长156.54公里。建筑物主要有隧洞、水库、泵站、PCCP管线、渡槽、埋涵等。供水的运行、调度、监控采用自动化控制,实现对全线的遥信、遥测、遥控和遥调。

ShanxiWanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project (YRDP) is a large scale inter-basinwater diversion project, which effectively quenches the thirst for in ShanxiProvince.

Shanxi Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project diverts water from WanjiazhaiReservoir, and distributes the diverted water though General Main (GM), SouthMain (SM), Connection Works (CW), and North Main (NM). The GM starts from theWanjiazhai Reservoir to Xiatuzhai diversion gate in Pianguan County. The SM andCW go southward from Xiatuzhai diversion gate to Taiyuan; while the NM goeseastward from the Xiatuzhai diversion gate to Datong. The project is designedto divert 1200 million m3 of water annually, i.e. 640 million m3for Taiyuan City and 560 million m3 for Datong City and ShuozhouCity. The water way is totally about 441.8km long, of which GM is 44.35km, SM101.56km, CW 139.35km (including 81.2km Fenhe River course), and NM 156.54km.The major structures include tunnels, regulating reservoirs, pump stations,PCCP pipeline, aqueducts, culverts, etc. The operating, control and monitoringof the Project are realized by computerized automatic system for supplyingwater reliably. And the Project is equipped with telecommunication,tele-metering, remote control, and remote regulating devices all along theline.

1.     总干线 General Main

总干线输水线路长44.35公里,从万家寨水利枢纽引水,通过隧洞、泵站、申同嘴水库引水至下土寨村分水口。设计输水流量48m3/s,年引水量12亿方。、泵站3座,设计总扬程356米,每座泵站各装机10台,单机流量6.45 m3/s。其中一、二级泵站为地下泵站,设计扬程均为140米;三级泵站为地面泵站,设计扬程76米。

The GeneralMain is 44.35km long. Itdiverts water from Wanjiazhai Reserovir and conveys it to Xiatuzhai diversiongate via tunnels, pump stations and Shentongzui Reservoir. It is designed todivert water at a discharge of 48m/s. It could divert 1.2 billion m3of water annually. There are 20 major structures along the line.

Three pump stations, withthe total lift of 356m. Ten pumps in each pump station. Each pump has adischarge of 6.45m3/s. The first-stage and second-stage pumpstations are underground ones, each having the lift of 140m. The third-stage pumpstation is a surface one with the design lift of 76m.

1.1 总干一级泵站 General Main PumpStation No.1

总干线一级泵站厂房为地下式,埋深140-180m,泵站装机10台,单机流量6.45m3/s,设计扬程40.00m。

地下厂房布置有主厂房、副厂房和安装间。总长度148.80m 。主机房尺寸(长x宽x高)为:97.50mx17.6mx32.7m,电动机层高程945.90m,拱顶高程963.00m,副厂房位于主厂房左端,其平面尺寸(长x宽)为:15.10x17.60m。安装间位于主厂房右端,其平面尺寸(长x宽)为:18.50x17.60m。安装间右端布置通风机室、简易间等。

110kV变电站位于厂区顶部地面,控制楼地坪高程1093.00m,变电站设在1097.00m平台,该平台上布置GIS组合电器及四台40MVA主变压器,1093.00m平台中部为电缆竖井,其两侧布置办公楼、中控室、输入输出变压器、变频器等电器设备。

交通洞位于厂房南侧,洞口在黄河左岸,新建黄河公路桥以北200m处。洞口高程908.50m,洞长732.21m,以6.0~6.37%上坡进入厂房安装间,洞断面为(宽x高)7.7x7.0m的城门洞型,进、出水检修阀室交通洞均由交通洞引接。

GeneralMain Pump Station No.1 (GMPS1) is an underground one with its depth varyingbetween 140m and 180m. The station houses 10 sets of pumps, each with thedischarge of 6.45m3/s and the lift of 40.00m.

Theunderground pump station is totally 148.80m long, dividing into pump house,ancillary room and erection bay. The pump house is sized at 97.50m×17.6m×32.7m(length×width×height), with its motor storey at El.945.90m and its crown at El.963.00m.The ancillary room is located on the left end of the pump house, with the sizeof 15.10×17.60m (length×width) in plan. The erection bay isprovided on the right end of the pump house, with the size of 18.50×17.60m(length×width) in plan. On the right side of the erection bay are ventilationroom and handy tool room. 

The110kV substation of GMPS1 is situated on the ground above the pump station. Theground of the control building is at El.1093.00m, while the substation issituated on a terrace at El.1097.00m, where gas insulated switchgears (GIS) and4 sets of 40MVA main transformers are arranged. In the middle of the platformat El.1093.00m is the cable shaft. And office building, control center, inputand output transformers, frequency converters, etc. are provided on the twosides of the cable shaft.

Theaccess tunnel is excavated to the south of the pump house with its portal inthe left bank of Yellow River. It is also 200m to the north of the newlyconstructed Yellow River Highway Bridge. This 732.21m long tunnel starts withits portal at El.908.50m, and it has an inverted U shaped cross-section sizedat 7.7×7.0m(L×W). It leads to the erection bay along an upslope with the gradient of6.0%~6.37%. The branch access tunnels to the inlet and outlet service valvechambers are all connected to this tunnel.

  调节总干线一、二级泵站因万家寨水库水位变动引起的不平衡流量,并由水库放水闸控制均匀下泄,以保持不同时期下游所需的引水流量。水库总库容为20.24万m3,有效库容14.7万m3,淤积库容为5.54万m3。水库最高蓄水位1248m,最低蓄水位1237.5m。主要建筑物包括清淤闸、冲沙闸、放水闸。

Itrectifies the flow imbalance between GMPS1 and GMPS2 caused by change inWanjiazhai reservoir level. The total reservoir storage capacity is 20.24×104m3, ofwhich 14.7×104m3is effective storage and 5.54×104m3 is silted storage. Thefull supply level of the reservoir is at El.1245m and its lowest water level isat El.1237.5m. The main structures of the reservoir involve desilting sluice,sand flushing sluice and outlet sluice.

1.2 总干二级泵站 General Main PumpStation No.2

总干线二级泵站为地下式厂房,埋深160m。

总干线二级泵站主、副厂房、安装间、检修阀室的布置和尺寸、相对位置及厂内设置布置同一级泵站。

交通洞、通风口布置形式也同一级泵站,交通洞位于厂房西侧,洞口高程1121.50m,洞长715.30m,以6.21~8.7%的下坡进入厂房安装间,断面尺寸(宽x高)为:7.5x7.0m城门洞型。

二级泵站110kV变电站位于厂房顶部地面,地坪高程1220.00m。变电站西北侧布置四台40MVA主变压器其开关设备及GIS组合电器,电缆竖井位于东南角,与办公楼、中控室和高压开关室毗邻,电缆竖井底板高程1082.30,井高137.70m,其内部布置与一级泵站电缆竖井相同。

GeneralMain Pump Station No.2 (GMPS2) is also constructed underground at the depth of160m.

The room arrangement,dimensions, and equipment configuration of GMPS2 are the same as that of GMPS1.

Theaccess tunnel and ventilation opening of GMPS2 are also similar to that ofGMPS2 in design. The 715.30m access tunnel is excavated to the west of the pumphouse with its portal at El.1121.50m. It has an inverted U shaped cross-sectionsized at 7.5×7.0m (L×W). And it leads to the erection bay along a down slopewith the gradient of 6.21%~8.7%. 

The110kV substation of GMPS2 is situated on the ground above the pump station atEl.1220.00m. The gas insulated switchgears (GIS) and 4 sets of 40MVA maintransformers are provided in the northwest of the substation. The cable shaftis excavated in the southeast of the substation, close to office building,control center, and high-voltage switchgear room. The cable shaft is 137.70mhigh with its bottom at El.1082.30m. The configuration inside the cable shaftis the same as that of GMPS1.

1.3 总干三级泵站 General Main PumpStation No.3

总干线三级泵站位于岩头寺村偏关河右岸台地上,地面式厂房。泵站装机10台,单机容量0.6万kW,单机流量6.45m3/s,设计扬程76m。

厂区主要建筑物包括主、副厂房、进水建筑物、弃水建筑物、出水建筑物、排洪沟、防洪堤、变电站、生活用水池、技术供水和消防水池、管理用房等。

主厂房内安装10台单级单吸立式离心泵,装机高程1205.60 m,安装间位于主厂房两端,副厂房布置在主厂房出水侧,控制楼在副厂房右侧。主厂房尺寸(长x宽x高)为124.30x19.5x36.9m,控制楼尺寸(长x宽)为39.70x16.80m,其余副厂房长84.60m,宽16.80m。

110kV变电站布置在厂房左侧,位于高程1214.40m,采用封闭结构,下层布置主变压器,上层为GIS组合电器室,在厂区左侧1221.00 m处布置有进线场地,中间由栈桥连接,占地面积1056 m2

GeneralMain Pump Station No.3 (GMPS3) is a surface station on the right bank terraceof Pianguan River near Yantousi Village. Ten pumps are installed in thestation, each with the power capacity of 6000kW. And each pump could lift waterfor 76m at the discharge of 6.45m3/s.

The majorstructures involve pump house, ancillary room, water inlet and outlet works,floodway, flood protection embankment, substation, domestic water tank, coolingwater and firefighting water tank and management offices.

Ten setsof single-stage single suction vertical centrifugal pumps are installed at El.1205.60min the pump house. On both ends of the pump house are the erection bays. Theancillary room is on the same side with the outlet of the pump house and thecontrol building is on the right of the ancillary room. The pump house is sizedat 124.30×19.5×36.9m (L×W×H), the control building at 39.70×16.80m (L×W), and the ancillary room at 84.60m×16.80m(L×W).

The 110kvsubstation constructed at El.1214.40m on the left of the pump house has anenclosed architectural structure. Its lower storey houses the main transformers,and its upper layer houses the GIS devices. The incoming line bay is at El.1221.00mon the left part of the station area, covering an area of 1056m2.

2.     南干线South Main

南干线从下土寨分水闸向南,经偏关、平鲁、朔州、神池至宁武县头马营出口进入汾河,全长101.56公里,设计引水流量25.8m3/s,年引水量6.4亿方。主要建筑物有15座:

3、地面泵站2座,设计扬程均为140米,每座泵站各装机6台,单机流量6.45m3/s。

The South Mainruns southwards from Xiatuzhai diversion gate to Toumaying outlet works by wayof Pianguan, Pinglu, Shuozhou, and Shenchi. It is totally 101.56km long. It is designedto divert water at a discharge of 25.8m/s. It could divert 0.64 billion m3of water annually. There are 15 major structures along the line.

(3) Two surface pumpstations, with the total lift of 140m. Six pumps in each pump station. Eachpump has a discharge of 6.45m3/s.

2.1  南干一级泵站 South Main Pump Station No.1

南干线一级泵站位于下土寨村南偏关河河床。主要建筑物有主、副厂房、进水建筑物、弃水建筑物、出水建筑物、控制楼、办公楼等。

主厂房尺寸(长x宽x高)为:84.9x20.0x36.6m。泵站设计流量25.8m3/s,装机6台,其中两台备用,单机流量6.45m3/s,总装机容量72000kW。设计扬程140m,由于泵站吸程达15.0m,水泵安装高程定为1270.00m,安装间高出电动机层3.0m,安装间高程1281.90m,电动机层高程1278.90m。安装间布置在主厂房右端,尺寸(长x宽)为16.5x20.0。副厂房位于主厂房出水侧,紧靠主厂房,尺寸(长x宽)为84.4x17.1m。控制楼单独成一体,位于厂房右侧与安装间相邻,控制楼尺寸(长x宽)为39.1x11.8m。中央控制室底高程1281.80m,控制楼二层1287.60m高程,布置有实验室、直接盘室,控制楼三层1291.80m高程,有通讯、调度室等。控制楼水下二层,分别为1278.90m高程的电缆夹层及1272.20m高程的空压机及通风机室。

变电站位于厂区西侧,占地960.0m2,采用站---变合一型式,为平面开敞式布置,电压等级110kV,内有2台40000kVA主变及开关设备,GIS组合电器位于主变东侧,输电线路由西侧进线。沿变电站西边,设有油库、油处理室等。

South MainPump Station No.1 (SMPS1) is located on the riverbed of Pianguan River, to thesouth of Xiatuzhai Village of Pianguan County. The major structures include pumphouse, ancillary room, water inlet and outlet works, control building andmanagement offices.

The pumphouse, sized at 84.9×20.0×36.6m (L×W×H), houses 6 pumps (including two asstandby), each having the unit discharge of 6.45m3/s; therefore thepump station has a designed discharge of 25.8m3/s. With the totalpower capacity at 72000kW, it could lift water for 140m. Because the suctionlift of the pumps reaches 15m, the pumps are installed at El.1270.00m. And theerection bay (El.1281.90m) is 3.0m higher than the motor storey (El.1278.90m).The erection bay with the size of 16.5×20.0m (L×W) is located to the right ofthe pump house. The ancillary room, sized at 84.4×17.1m (L×W), is arranged onthe outlet side of pump house. The separate control building, sized at 39.1×11.8m (L×W), is located to the right of thepump house, close to the erection bay. The ground floor of control center is atEl.1281.80m. The test room and direct panel room are arranged at El.1287.60m onthe second floor of control building. The communication room and dispatchingroom are arranged on the third floor of control building at El.1291.80m. Thetwo floors under water level in the control building are the cable floor(El.1278.90m) and compressed air and ventilation room (El.1272.20m).

The 110kVsubstation lies in the west of the station area, occupying an area of 960.6m2.The substation is installed with two sets of 40,000kVA main transformers. TheGIS switches are on the east of the main transformers. The transmission linegoes into the substation from the west side. The oil depot and oil disposalhouse etc. are arranged along the west side of the substation.

2.2  南干二级泵站 South Main Pump Station No.2

南干线二级泵站位于信虎辛窑村东南,偏关河支流南沟与大沟交汇处,距一级泵站约6.3km,引水系统和厂房置于右岸山脚下河槽滩地上。出水建筑物置于右岸山体内。

二级泵站主、副厂房,安装间,控制楼等布置尺寸、厂内设备及厂房结构等均与一级泵站相同,仅安装间和控制楼设在主厂房的左侧。

South MainPump Station No.2 (SMPS2) is located at the junction of Nangou River and DagouRiver, two tributaries of Pianguan River. It is about 6.3km from SMPS1. Theinlet system and the pump house are constructed on the flood plain at the footof right bank mountain, while the outlet structure is excavated in the rightbank mountain.

Thelayout, dimensions, equipment and structures of pump house, ancillary rooms,erection bay, control building etc. of SMPS2 are the same as SPMS1, except thatthe erection bay and control building are arranged on the left side of the pumphouse.

3.     北干线 North Main

北干线近期工程自总干线下土寨分水闸起,穿过吕梁山,经平鲁、朔州、山阴怀仁至大同墙框堡水库,全长156.54公里

平鲁地下泵站1座,运行扬程120~137米,装机5台,单机流量0.88m3/s,总装机容量8500kW。

The Northern Stem istotally 156.54km. It starts from Xiatuzhai diversion gate to QiangkuangbuReservoir in Datong city, going through Lvliang Mountain, Pinglu City, ShuozhouCity, Shanyin City, and Huairen City.

(5) One underground pumpingstation in Pinglu city, with the total power of 8500kW and 5 pumps, each pumpwith the discharge of 0.88m3/s and the lift between 120m and 137m.

平鲁地下泵站位于大梁水库右岸山体下,埋深约140米。主要任务为每年10月至次年7月北干工程运行期将水自隧洞抽入大梁水库储存;8、9两月引黄工程停止引水时,再经大梁水库放水洞将库水放入1#隧洞,满足向大同、平朔等地的供水任务。

平鲁地下泵站安装5台单级双吸卧式机组,正常高扬程137米,单机设计流量0.88m3/s,单机容量1700千瓦。主要建筑物包括地下及地面两大部分,地下建筑物主要包括:厂房、进出水系统、交通洞、电缆井等;地面建筑物主要包括变电站和进水塔等。

Pinglu UndergroundPump Station is constructed in the hill on the right bank of Daliang Reservoirat the depth of about 140m. It pumps water from the free-flow tunnel to DaliangReservoir during the period from October to July in the next year. When waterdiversion from Wanjiazhai Reservoir is suspended in August and September, thereservoir releases water back to the tunnel to supply water for Pingshuo,Shanyin, Huairen and Datong.

    Thepump station houses 5 sets of horizontal single-stage and double-suction pumpunits. Each pump unit has the power capacity of 1700kW. It could lift water for137m at the discharge of 0.88m3/s. The underground works of the stationinvolves pump house, water inlet and outlet works, access tunnel, cable shaft,etc. And the surface works includes substation and water intake tower, etc.
